Events

The American Museum of Natural History hosts many events through out the year. These events are heavily science based and are open to the general public upon reservation due to limited availability. Scientists such as Paleontologists and Archeologists are usually invited to speak to the public and share their work.

January 2nd, 2023 at 10am – 3pm. an event for kids will be held at the top level of the museum. Michael Grieco, a children’s book author, will read some of his books and explain the differences between dinosaurs and talk about their distinction. After the presentation the kids will have time to draw their favorite dinosaur as well as play with dinosaur toys provided by the museum. Parents and guardians can leave their kids during that time in the museum and come and pick them up at the end of the event.

Next Halloween on the 31st of October there will be an event after 8:00 pm. Event guests are strongly encouraged to dress up for the occasion and be as creative as possible within the theme of the museum. Prizes will be given out for the best costumes. All the events proceeds will be used to conduct meaningful work in protecting endangered species.
